WhatsApp is making a significant change to the way it lets people "unsend" messages.

Until now, the app has allowed people to take back messages they sent by accident or that they later regretted. But it has given people a very strict time to do so: messages can only be recalled for the seven minutes after they are sent out.

While the world is still debating on this 7 minutes of time frame and how this feature seems useless, WhatsApp's latest update to now recall the message within 1 hour has made the feature all the more pointless. Let's be clear, 7 minutes is already a too much of delay and 1 hour of extension means nobody would even care to use the feature. The feature can be used only in rare of the rare cases.
Unless they are sleeping or in a no network zone, most of the WhatsApp users will check the message within minutes. No one waits an hour to check a WhatsApp message. Once a message has been delivered and five minutes have passed, whether you delete the message or not within 68 minutes is going to be something of no consequences.

I agree that's true but i think this is a huge update, i think 50% people will love this update.
but how. let's clear it too. for example when you sent a message, and after that you think oh no i should not sent have that message to him/her. so in 68minutes duration you will be have a chance to delete that sent message before seeing message by him or her.



That is about to change in a new update to the app, however, reports the site WABetaInfo. It has found indications in early code of the app that it will allow people to delete messages as much as 4,096 seconds, or 68 minutes and 16 seconds, to delete messages.
