How to Root Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Firmware with SuperSU

Start in TWRP or any other custom recovery of your choice.
Install / flash the SuperSU V2.61 zipper.
└ This will install SuperSU and to automatically allow the boot image patch root access.
Restart device.
That's it. a root-checker app from the Play Store to verify root access, download and install.
